North York Academy Intensive Summer Clinic offer advanced training, aligned with the North York Academy training program, led by the North York Academy Coaches.
High-performance camps, following the club’s environment of professionalism, are implemented through the summer break, at the state-of-the-art Central Tech artificial turf field, offering professional training conditions that will allow you to take your game to the next level.

2. CAMP OBJECTIVES
North York Academy Coaches have designed the training program to help each player master important principles of soccer, following the North York Academy high performance training methodology:

Master individual and collective technical concepts

Develop tactical concepts with perceptive games and situations

Develop your physical condition: strength, endurance, speed & agility

Master specific training by positions

Develop and master soccer formations and set pieces plays

Develop the theoretical aspects of the game
3. CAMP COORDINATOR
Joao Aragao is the North York Academy High Performance Camp Coordinator. Mr. De Aragao has over fifteen (15) years of international coaching experience, having coached throughout Portugal for internationally renowned clubs FC Porto and SC Braga. He holds a number of degrees, licenses and certificates specific to coaching soccer. Most notably, Mr. De Aragao holds a Master’s degree in Sport and Physical Education (Soccer Specialization) from the University of Porto and also holds his UEFA B coaching license.
4. GOALKEEPERS WELCOME
Goalkeeper coach will be on site everyday. Maxim has been with North York Academy since Fall 2019. As a youth player in Kyrgyz Republic, Max completed all the stages of player development. He began competing from U13 on the National team and continued at all levels of youth national teams including and up to U19, which was the first team in the history of Kyrgyz Republic to represent the country at the Asian Cup final stage. After that Max signed a professional contract. He is currently a candidate for the Ontario Soccer Goalkeeping course. Below you will find what the goalkeepers will work on.

Technical, tactical, and cognitive aspects with a focus on goalkeeper-specific skills and techniques

Analysis of game situations in the last third of the field

Aerial plays – vision of the game and positioning on crosses

Positioning in the net and the line

Specialized goalkeeper workouts in the fitness center (strength, endurance, physical conditioning, and prevention routines)

Theoretical sessions including video analysis of training and games
5. IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NOTE PRIOR TO REGISTERING

Training groups will be created based on age, level, skills and abilities.

An award ceremony will be held the last day of camp, where players will receive a North York Academy diploma.
